TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE 

PREMISE:

The merchandise up for auction is the property of a third parties, who guarantee the lawful origination, except in cases where the Great Coins & Art Auctions srl is the owner of the lots. The proposed has been accurately examined and is guaranteed authentic. The state of preservation of the item indicated in the catalogue has been determined by our expert staff and formulated in a vigorous detail. 

Participants in Auction n.3, closing date and time on Friday, September 22^nd 2023 from 4pm Rome time, must adhere to the following conditions.

1. VAT REGIME (MARGIN SYSTEM)

All sales made by Great Coins & Art Auctions srl are made by virtue of contracts entered into with private consumers or with VAT subjects operating under the margin regime, governed by art. 40 bis of the d. L. 41/95 and subsequent amendments by virtue of this legislation, neither VAT on services and / or services rendered to the buyer and seller, nor VAT on the hammer price will be applied.

2. APPRAISAL

The price indicated in the catalog represents the starting auction price below which the sale of the item will be not effectuated.  These appraisals, expressed in Euro, have been formulated according to professional and prudential criteria and are indicates under the lots’ descriptions in the catalog and do not include the auction fee owed by the successful bidder. 

3. AUCTION FEE 

The total amount to be paid by the successful bidder, for each lot, is made up of: 

- Selling price.

- Auction fee (I.V.A. tax included): 20% + 2% (biddr fee).

4. PARTICIPATION IN THE AUCTION

One can participate in the auction through:
- written bids, offered no later than 12.00 p.m. on September 22, 2023, sent by registered letter, e-mail (to info@greatcoinsauctions.com) or, alternatively, by telephone followed by written confirmation.
- The website www.biddr.com by registration and within the terms indicated above. Publication of the auction on this portal is for commercial, advertising and dissemination purposes only. Through this means, for the convenience and usefulness of the participants who register and make offers, the possibility of following its progress is provided, as well as the possibility of following live the final awarding of the lots on the day and time of the closing of the sale.

Great Coins & Art Auctions srl will not apply any additional expense for the care of the commissions with respect to the auction commission indicated in point 3. By sending the offers and signing the appropriate form, you sign in a specific, explicit, formal manner and expressed the unconditional acceptance of all the conditions of sale provided for in this regulation. Commissions that carry offers that are not well defined (eg "at best" or "to take") will not be taken into consideration without the participant being able to oppose anything in this regard. The objects are definitively awarded to the highest bidder. Transfers to third parties of lots already awarded will not be accepted and the successful bidder will be held solely, directly and personally responsible for the payment. Great Coins & Art Auctions s.r.l reserves the right to withdraw any lot from the auction and to combine or separate the lots and possibly change the sale order during the auction itself. All at its discretion and at its sole discretion without the participant being able to oppose anything on the matter. In the case of two identical bids relating to the same lot, the same will be awarded to the bidder whose bid was received first.

Important: Italian law requires us to identify the buyers at auction, so the bidders are required to submit a copy of a valid document. Foreign buyers will also communicate the date and the place of birth.   

4a. EXPORTATION: For shipping beyond Italian borders all items older than 70 years we must ask for the export licence and it need about 30 days for lots under 13.500 Euro and 120/180 days for lots exceeding 13.500 Euro. Export requests will be forwarded upon payment of the lot and with the explicit authorization of the successful bidder. Great Coins & Art Auctions s.r.l. cannot assume any responsibility for delays deriving from the disposal of export practices forwarded to the competent office, which reserves the right to process them based on the internal quantity of the same. Great Coins & Art Auctions s.r.l does not assume any responsibility towards the successful bidders in relation to any restrictions on the export of the lots awarded, nor in relation to any licenses or certificates that the successful bidder must obtain at his own expense and according to the laws in force in the State. The successful bidder, in the event of the exercise of the right of pre-emption by the Italian State, will not be able to claim from Great Coins & Art Auctions srl or from the seller any reimbursement of any interest on the price and auction fees already paid.

5. SHIPPING AND PAYMENTS

The total amount (selling price and auction fee) must be paid at the end of the auction. In any case, it must be made in full, in Euro, within thirty days of the award. Failing that, Great Coins & Art Auctions s.r.l, may at its discretion, and alternatively, sell the lot by private negotiation or award it to the second bidder. In the event that a deposit is paid for the purchased good but the balance is not completed within 30 days, Great Coin & Art Auctions srl reserves the right to withhold the deposit as a penalty.

SHIPPING FEES:

- Insured shipping through DHL is at the purchaser’s expense: 25,00 euro for insured value up to 1.000,00 euro. For package insurance values ​​exceeding € 1,000.00, the costs will be quantified at the time of shipment.

REMITTANCE MAY BE PAID THROUGH:

1. Wire transfer to: IBAN: IT44N0306902609100000012775   BIC (SWIFT): BCITITMMXXX to Great Coins & Art Auctions srl. BANCA INTESA SANPAOLO S.p.A. (fil. C.so Stamira Ancona).
2. Non-transferable bank cheque or draft made out to: Great Coins & Art Auctions srl .
3. Postal Order to Great Coins & Art Auctions srl Piazza Cavour, 16 - 60123 Ancona.

Great Coins & Art Auctions srl cannot accept cash payments for an amount equal to or greater than € 5000.00.

6. VIEWING THE ITEM(S):

The proposed lots will be available by appointment at the officers of Great Coins & Art Auctions s.r.l on the days preceding the auctions respecting the current anti-Covid19 regulations.

7. CONTESTATIONS

Claims will not be accepted:

1. After 30 days from the date of receipt of goods.
2. For defects cited in the catalogue or easily seen in the photographs of the merchandise.

Method of claim:

1. The material in question must be correctly packed, shipped and insured by the sender (any payment for shipping upon receipt will be refused). The sender is directly responsible for the care and handling of the material up to its delivery to Great Coins & Art Auctions s.r.l.

By signing the offer one explicitly and unconditionally accepts the sales conditions hereby described. The law court of Ancona and of Mantova (Italy) has jurisdiction over any disputes.
